Dwarves

So I don't really know where this belongs but, I'm pretty sure everyone wants dwarves to be in the mod. However, the only dwarf I've ever seen in an Elder Scrolls game was that one from Morrowind. So when (and how) do we begin work on making an entirely new species?

we need the CK for that and it's not out yet Sad

Contrary to the TES Universe, in Alagaesia dwarves are quite abundant.

Making the race is most likely going to be the work of the modellers. We will figure it out.

yah we gotta make em from scratch.

Short, chunky broad faces, large beards, etc etc.

Im thinking a tolkien dwarf is the best likeness. Besides its no secret that CP adopted a lot of ideas from the Sillmarillion and LOTR

yeah well the beards and face details can be handled by the vanilla editor we just need to make the basic model

Couldn't you just take the body model of a skyrim race, like the nords, and scale it down?

dwarves are midgets just ones that like fighting, mining and long beards

They would be chunkier than imperials not just smaller, just lobbing the legs wouldn't work.

They are not just midgets that fight, they are broad midgets that fight Razz

We would have to broaden them. Remember Shrrgnien. He stated that dwarf fists are larger than men's. Scaling them down wouldn't work. They would more look like the elves working in Santa Claus' lab ( and no i dont believe in St. Claus )

Yep i think we will need to make an entirely new race or it won't look as authentic and it just look like a short and wide human race.
In other words, we need them to look real.

from experience in the oblivion CC you make the model then hook it up to a race in the editor then make base stats etc etc

Elves are much simpler. Their bodies are perfect but many perfect races have been done for oblivion. In fact the HGEC Female body and Robert's Male body are in my obinion the displays of perfection of the human body.

I think we should try to ask the people that made these mods ( Exnem, HellKnight and Robert ) to help us with the mod.
