Sketches
I thought that I could post my sketches here, and constructive criticism will really help my continuous work. I must say, though, that these sketches are simply plain sketches and in most cases just my jibberish thoughts put on a paper. Anyway, if you have something that you would like to be sketched, simply write it down here and I will do my best!

Re: Sketches
Looking brilliant Istalri, we've been missing a good concept artist around here.

Re: Sketches
It's nice to have a concept artist on the team
Personally I always pictured them a bit more thick-furred and... can't really describe but more... sturdy? lol, not the right word but more tough.
I mean these things can live naturally independent of the Dwarves in the Beor Mountains and even with their unmatched maneuverability and unnatural purchase on the steepest slopes I'm not sure I can picture it being much of a match for Naga, Shrrgs and Urzhad. Then again they do reproduce VERY quickly; I guess anyway as they'd have to to be able to survive in the mountains as the main source of prey for pretty much everything carnivorous that finds a fox or regular deer too small, also for the Dwarves to be able to live off the species the herds most reproduce fairly quickly, but it's all just speculation.

Re: Sketches
Yeah, I see your point, but I personally think that they still need some slenderness to be able to maneuver in the mountains. The fur can be thicker, absolutely, but as I just said, slenderness. I cant really picture myself some stubby sturdy goat-like creature manouvering at some point of speed that a Shrrg cant keep up. You need slenderness and agility for that And I think that the Feldûnosts survive by their speed. Their horns are big and sturdy, sure, but I don't really see them keeping a Shrrg away other than by ramming them in the ankles perhaps, and if you look at the
mountain goats, they survive from predators by zigzagging their way up or down a mountain fast.
This is just my opinion

Here is an alternative sketch of Thorn made up from my head, with a little help from the descriptions in the books
