Feldûnost hunting
It's just a thought I had, but if we could have a minor quest where you would go searching for a missing herd of Feldûnosts in the Beor Mountains Then we could include some tracking of the footprints and so on, and when you find them you would have to herd them to some sort of "safepoint". To make it a bit more difficult we could throw in a bunch of bandits or Shrrgs. What do you think?

I like it there aren't very many Dwarf-oriented quests yet.
A band of bandits/criminals could have forced the herd deeper into the wilderness to cage and sell them later.
You arrive in the bandit camp and a cinematic where the bandits are getting freaked about noises in the forest and bushes and howling before a Shrrg and it's mate start to attack them drawn by the scared stench of the Feldunost.
You need to kill the Shrrg advancing on the Feldunost (causing the other to leave) and interrogate one of the remaining bandits; if there's any left to discover a side-quest about illegal activities and bolder criminals thinking about sneaking into Du Weldenvarden to poach soon as well , the Elves probably wouldn't take kindly to that...
Then you need to use your Dragon to muster the herd and escort them back to a 'safepoint', meanwhile the other Shrrg will be pulling guerilla attacks on the herd on the way back.
It takes a stand and you have to order your Dragon to go on without you and return the herd itself, while you deal with the Shrrg, who gets an Enraged stat boost from the loss of her mate, small boss fight and you return to the Dwarves/Questgiver who confirms [DragonName] was successful.
[OffTopic]: I think Dragon's should have personalities by the way, when they're made in the startup screen, a few options about if they're arrogant and hot tempered, or wise and quiet, or prideful and vain, etc. it would be nice to give them varying dialogue (well, inner monologue seeing as they only communicate with the player through thought), sorry for the off-topic, I just brought it up here because I can imagine some snarky remark about the ending, that of course she could handle such a menial task as herding frightened prey and next time she wasn't going to miss out on the fight .
So Istalri, sound any good? Or did I divert from your original feelings on it too much?

No no, I think that you developed the idea very nicely and I would really want to see this as a quest And I like the idea of more quests where the rider help out villagers and "ordinary" people with different kinds of tasks, since it will integrate the player with the surroundings. I also agree with the dragons personality, it would be great if the team could make that happen.

Villagers and ordinary people need love too!
I like it as long as there aren't any excruciatingly mundane tasks like "be a good dragonborn and fetch a book from my cousin" guy, I mean MY GOD ! That's what couriers are for you patronizing Nord.

This quest is a great idea. As a rider you should be ready to help any one or anything that may need your help, weather or not that person or creature deserves your help should be for you to decide(sorry for going a little off topic, it is a bad habit)

I think you should have an option to put "fetch a book type quests" in misc quests. Your a rider, you know people are going to mob you for help. BTW good quest.
