possibly at the start when choosing the dragon's specs and thus your magics colour, maybe at the same time you choose the specs for your rider sword, e.g what enchantment it has, damage vs speed, etc

The dragon is looking BEAUTIFUL! Very Happy
Though I think the back feet would look a bit better if they were a slightly larger reptillian three-pronged foot instead of the same as the front 'hands'; which look great by the way.

Yeah the back "talons" just looked awful, i have already begun to re-make them https://imgur.com/eCSLg

also i think the lower neck is too thin.. (you can see it better in one of those album images)

yah, the horns could also be brought back a bit.

That model is awesome. The only think that I don't like very much are the feet. They look too much like human hands IMO.

I suggest making them more clawish/talon-like

Zbrush is a sculpting programm, you have an object and then you have to sculpt the details with the brushes .
In blender or other 3d modelling programm you work with the vertex, moving an extruding them

ok gotcha, so really the best thing to do would be to make the basic model in blender then add detail in zbrush?

If you want to make a model with blueprints, you should do the basic model in blender and then the details in zbrush, but you could do all the model in zbrush too.

little update.
i'm preparing the dragon for zbrush sculpting.
Not much changes to be seen, but the dragon is actually in 10 different objects now. this should make the sculpting process easier and allow me to go greater detail.

You could use that in a movie Razz but real time rendering in game isn't possibile

Careful with the scales, they're actually quite a bit larger and more oblong than those, I'd say they almost look like a flattened shoe-horn tbh from the covers and artwork.
